Measure with extensive changes to exterior of building and/or likely to be controversial in planning terms. Research local authority Local Plan and relevant Planning Policy Statements and ensure proposals do not conflict with these documents. Submit detailed planning application with drawings/photomontages, covering all technical, aesthetic and environmental aspects of the proposed measure installation and obtain planning consent.
During implementation
