Abstract or summary

This report provides the results of a thermal performance study of traditional building elements. The study focused on U‐values as an indicator of thermal performance, and involved their in situ measurements and the subsequent comparison with U‐values calculated with software programs, and with often used ‘default’ U‐values. The study was carried out from 2007 to 2010 by Dr. Paul Baker, Glasgow Caledonian University.
